The Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) is the Philippine government’s main socioeconomic think tank. Since its establishment in 1977, it has been engaged in the conduct of policy-oriented studies to assist policymakers and planners in crafting evidence-based development policies, plans, and programs.
