A European Strategy for the Semiconductor Crisis

August 20, 2021

The semiconductor crisis has been largely underestimated in Italy as well as in the rest of the European Union. In reality, the dynamics of the availability of all raw materials and the critical rise in prices have been little considered by the news and by our political representatives who prefer to fight talking only about Afghanistan and rave parties (one failure after another). Yet the slowdown in industrial production , resulting from the shortage of primary materials, could have a serious impact on the recovery after the pandemic. The solutions should be taken precisely at the community level, but all is silent in the long summer break.
