This book combines the temporal context with the impact perspective. This begs the question: What remains of globalization after it went through the pandemic exhausted? The answer does not lie in an isolated economic analysis of the pandemic, but in the classification of the structures and conditions of globalization. New options are explored, problems and deficits are identified and possibilities for future cooperation are outlined. Globalization thus has the chance to re-establish itself in the resilience of an open, free world with its weaknesses in order and loss of orientation.
