On Wednesday July 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., the presentation ceremony of the Spanish Gaia-X hub will take place. The presentation ceremony, which will have a hybrid format and will be broadcast via streaming through YouTube , will be opened by Ms. Carme Artigas , Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.
This will be followed by a keynote on Gaia-X and a sovereign data economy by the Gaia-X Board of Directors and a keynote on the tourism data space, followed by a strategic forum on data sovereignty that we expect count on the presence of relevant personalities from the data economy, the European Commission, industry, associations and universities. The event will be closed by Ms. Nadia Calviño , First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.
The Spanish Gaia-X Hub will be a key player in the deployment of data governance, channeling and implementing reference architectures in the sectors, and integrating SMEs and micro-SMEs into data spaces, accompanying them in their training and in the implementation of use cases based on data and AI. This ecosystem should allow the creation of working groups that develop use cases to form sectorial data spaces.
