Innovative Global Cities—How Places Attact Knowledge-Intensive Industries

This study assesses what world-leading cities are doing in order to attract knowledge-intensive industries and innovation and thereby be able to draw lessons on how attractiveness can be promoted. The report provides a picture of what leading countries are doing to create attractive cities, with examples from Japan, South Korea, China, India, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil, the United States, and Canada highlighted as inspiration for how the work of cities is organized and implemented.
