Sylvia Völker will talk about the trends and challenges in supply chain management in the FMCG area. Buying behavior has changed, but the customers are the same.


Sylvia Völker MSc MBA, born in Styria, has been working in the food industry in the area of ​​supply chain management for 25 years. From 2009 to 2018, for example, she headed the Supply Chain Management Group at Maresi Austria GmbH with the areas of purchasing, planning, scheduling, logistics, SAP, data management and customer service. She also gained experience in export and controlling. She completed her studies at the Danube University in Krems and sees the supply chain as an internal and external communication platform. In addition to classic consulting work and project management, the focus of Sylvia Völker Consult also includes the operational implementation of supply chain projects and employee training.

In addition to practice, theory is also very important to her and with it the cooperation with scientific institutions and organizations for adult education. She is a lecturer at various universities and renowned training platforms and regularly leads seminars on the topics of supply chain management, data management and project and process management. She is a mentor of the women's logistics club at the FH BFI Vienna.

Until 2018 she was an active board member of a renowned purchasing platform and is a speaker at well-known specialist congresses and lecture stages.
